This teacher page is an intentional resource to connect our teaching staff with school and community support.
Our teaching love language is professional development! Our early childhood educator vision consists of program-wide and strength-based values, which is why we are grateful to be part of a fantastic community with so many resources and tools designed to promote excellence. We are committed to providing high-quality early care and education for our children, families, and teaching staff by staying relevant to early childhood studies—teachers complete at least 21 hours of professional development annually through one-time workshops and quality certification programs.
As a Leadership Team Member of the Teaching Pyramid for our school, we will guide the Teaching Pyramid implementation and support sustainability. The goals consist of knowledge, commitment, and achievement. Continuous work to meet these goals will lead to an overall positive influence on the program.
Our school implements research-based frameworks with ongoing support for teachers, including coaching and mentoring. Check out our Employee Handbook to glance into our story as educators.
We’re sharing this ”close to magic” moment about understanding how meaningful relationships are for learning! This clip is one of the wonderful clips shared with teachers while participating in the Teaching Pyramid pieces of training. Rita Pierson, a teacher for 40 years, once heard a colleague say, "They don't pay me to like the kids." Her response: "Kids don't learn from people they don't like." This advocacy calls educators to believe in their students and connect with them on a real, human, personal level.
The California ECE Workforce Registry is a state, regional and local collaboration designed to track and promote the education, training and experience of the early care and education workforce for the purpose of improving professionalism and workforce quality to positively impact children.
